Data & Business Analyst

Pas Normal Studios is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong business acumen to join our Team. The ideal candidate has a background that is strongly anchored in data and numbers- either as Data Analyst or as a financial number cruncher. You need to have a keen eye for detail, and you should be motivated by supporting your stakeholders with data and analyses that can improve decision making. Reporting to our CFO and with a strong link to our COO, the Data & Business Analyst will play a very central role in enabling both financial, operational and commercial success for the next chapter in our global growth journey.


Your key responsibilities:

As our Data & Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with all Departments. As such, you will play a very central role in the development of Pas Normal Studios - right in the intersection of financial, operational and commercial activities.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Own our data; Ensure data accuracy and consistency across different departments.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI/Microsoft Excel to visualize key insights.
  • Support/lead data-driven projects with the functional stakeholders
  • Develop financial models & forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze sales, cost, and profitability trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management.
  • Track and analyze budgets vs. actual performance.
  • Lead and/or support strategic projects such as pricing analysis, expansion plans, and investment decisions.

You thrive navigating the challenging landscape of Data management across functional topics- from supporting strategic discussions to detailed financial planning. You are dedicated to continuously improving and set the standards high for yourself and others. You possess a strong understanding of the many ways that data brings value to various stakeholders- and the organization in general.


The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • +3-5 years of experience in data/financial management.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret detailed sales data and financial metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of developing sound data models that support decision making
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PowerBI and Google BigQueryis a plus)

In addition, you should be a skilled communicator and change agent with an open mind as you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization. You should thrive in a flexible scale-up environment. An excellent command of English is a must.

Finally, you are a team player who enjoys supporting the Pas Normal organization to learn and develop. You possess a healthy dose of ambition to learn and develop, too.

For this role, you must be based within daily commute distance to our HQ in Copenhagen.
