Nestled in the mountains of Colorado, Steamboat Springs is historically known for its geothermal hot springs said to have therapeutic properties. In recent years, cycling has taken over the Yampa Valley in August and beyond for the SBT GRVL event. This year, PAS Racing got a taste of high-altitude racing at the pointy end of both the men's and women's races.
Karolina Migon finished just outside the podium in her first race at altitude securing fourth. Maude Farell raced to 18th and Emily Newsom fought her way through 200km course, while Simen Nordahl Svendsen (8), Chad Haga (14), Tobias Mørch Kongstad (18) and Matthew Wiebe (38) all showed the teams colours at the event.
Besides the race, travelling to Steamboat Springs was a chance to see new and old friends at our rides and events.
