I drag my lungs like a load And I long for sunset and water I drag my lungs like a load past a flowering holly all that whiteness against the blue oh so blue blue sky
Words by Victor Boy Lindholm

I drag my lungs like a load
And I long for sunset and water
I drag my lungs like a load

past a flowering holly

all that whiteness
against the blue

oh so blue blue sky

I drag my lungs like a load
Through my loneliness
which are as the plowed slopes of the brown field

the dust above the hills
in the early autumn's cold winds

I drag my lungs like a load

I feel the tendons in my legs

their overloaded work

the soreness behind the skin

the work of the lungs and the tendons

no maybe
my heart is
as the plowed slopes of the brown field

stony and dry
a sharp line towards the horizon

I drag my bike through the day
to watch the sun rise
to see the frost lying in the glistening grass

I drag my lungs like a load
to see myself against an infinite landscape

maybe I drag my bike through the day

repeatedly
to disappear into the landscape
again
