Collaboration is a fundamental activity in the transition to a more sustainable industry. Many highly respected organizations exist to provide support and resources for companies like ours to become more responsible. We learn a lot with the support of these organizations and aim to strengthen these relations moving forwards.
We are committed to reviewing and improving how we operate as an organization. The diverse range of research methods and strategies forms the basis of our impact and vision work.
We followed a journey of discovery to understand our impact and then created a five-step plan for achieving specific targets for the future:
Discover - Explore and define stakeholders and impacts created by the organization, including supply chain research, identifying all company activities, and learning about the culture of the Pas Normal Studios world.
Record - Document and map stakeholders and impacts, including measuring social and economic impacts through supply chain transparency and policies. The recording step also involves identifying qualitative impacts, such as emissions, energy use, and other resource usages. This step is performed using designated tools such as the Higg Index, LCA software, and other mapping tools.
Analyze - Identify hotspots and high-impact areas of the organization. This process involves understanding what we do well and what can be improved. The stage is a multi-stakeholder activity involving several departments to educate and inform about the status quo.
Set Goals - This step requires ambition and information from the previous steps to define fundamental areas of improvement and synthesize specific targets. The goals should be developed in collaboration with the SBTi to ensure relevance and ambition are central.
Act - Once clear goals have been set, our organization must innovate and develop to achieve these goals. The goals are made publicly available to hold us accountable for working towards them.
