PAS Racing wins The Traka

After a week of rain, the sun finally came out around Girona - just in time for The Traka. The mix of mud, dust and tough climbing and descending on the weather-torn route made the race highly selective.

Multiple mechanicals dictated the narrative and outcome for many riders.

After more 12 hours 38 minutes and 51 seconds of racing, Karolina Migon crossed the finish line as the winner of Women's The Traka 360. Karolina attacked on the final climb of the day, putting more than 20 minutes between her and the closest challenger.

In the men's race, PAS Racing's Chad Haga rounded out a North American podium while Simen Nordahl Svendsen (4) and Tobias Mørch Kongstad (5) provided the Scandinavian touch to the Spanish event.

Saturday's highly competitive 200 km race provided the perfect conditions for the skilled Klara Sofie Skovgaard Hansen to shine, taking second place after battling Carolin Schiff throughout the day.
