IT Assistant (Part-time)
Are you a tech-savvy, proactive professional with a passion for problem-solving? Pas Normal Studios is seeking a Part-Time IT Assistant to help us deliver seamless IT operations and support for our global team.
Your main objectives
Pas Normal Studios is seeking a service-minded IT Assistant to join our dynamic team, ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly for approximately 80 employees across Denmark, the US, China, Germany and Spain. Your focus will be on maintaining and implementing new systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with various IT-related tasks. As our IT Assistant, you will provide both in-office and virtual support, ensuring that employees receive prompt, effective help to minimize any disruptions.
This part-time role requires 15-20 hours per week, to be worked during office hours from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide first-line IT support to employees across the organization, both in-person and virtually
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the maintenance and setup of laptops, desktops, printers, and smartphones
- Assist with managing user accounts and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
- Support the installation and troubleshooting of software, including Microsoft Office 365 and Business Central ERP
- Help maintain IT inventory, licenses, and ensure accurate documentation of IT assets
- Provide support for new employee onboarding, ensuring that IT setups (email, system access) are seamless and efficient
- Assist with managing office technology, such as printers, and meeting room setups
- Assist in maintaining Aruba and Palo Alto network setups, including VPN management, to ensure network stability, security, and remote access for team members
About you
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, such as Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in IT support or a related role
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and patient approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Entra ID, and Business Central ERP is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to IT challenges
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members in a clear and friendly manner
- Basic knowledge of networkingconcepts
- Experience with Windows and macOS platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organization and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a global team
- Fluent in English
For this role, you must be based within commuting distance of our HQ in Copenhagen.
