Rainbow Stripes in Nannup

In Nannup, Western Australia, Magnus Bak Klaris became the World Champion and will race in the Rainbow Jersey for the next 12 months. The elite men’s race covered 144 kilometres and more than 3,700 metres of climbing, a course that rewarded patience as much as power. After four hours of racing, it came down to a four-up sprint for gold. Magnus held his nerve to beat Florian Vermeersch (Belgium, UAE Team Emirates XRG), the defending champion. With Connor Swift (UK, Netcompany INEOS) in third and former PAS Racing rider Mads Würtz Schmidt finishing fourth.

A career-defining win for Magnus, and a proud moment for everyone at PAS Racing and Pas Normal Studios.

Magnus Bak Klaris has raced with PAS Racing since 2025. In his first dedicated season on gravel, he took emphatic wins at Santa Vall and The Rift and became Danish Champion. Through 2026 he built steadily, with a recent UCI win in Halmstad and a strong display at the European Championships. In Nannup, it all came together.
